Menu Management: The Key Features

Allergen Alerts

With our integrated allergen warning, staff can enter a customers allergen which will ensure a warning appears when the customers chooses dishes with the allergen ingredients. Staff simply select the customers allergens and the alert will appear. Ensure customers are safe and happy with the right procedures in place.

 

Preferences

Want to allow customers to choose their food preferences? When entering a customers order into the EPoS system, preferences like chips or salad, choice of pasta or even how they like their steak can be easily added. Through Cloud HQ, necessary preferences can be added and will be toggled for specific items so customers will be asked how they like their eggs for menu items like an English Breakfast or Breakfast Muffin. This ensures all the relevant information is passed onto the chefs so nothing is missed out.

 

Recipe Description

Does your staff ever struggle to remember recipes? By adding a brief recipe to menu items like coffee and cocktails, staff can easily view this recipe or print a little slip of paper with it on. With so many different types of drinks and ways to make them, this feature is great when staff just want to check measures, ingredients or the steps to making it.

 

Upsells

Add specific Upsells to menu items through a SPARK EPoS system, Kiosk or Mobile Ordering device. When ordering on a Kiosk or Mobile Ordering web-app, customers can be prompted with visual upsells that will appear alongside similar products such as breakfast options or add ons like extra sausages or bacon appearing under English Breakfast. Visual upsells can also appear on an EPoS system for staff to offer to customers.

 

Nutrition

With calorie information a regulation for hospitality businesses, it's important to provide customers with multiple ways to display their nutritional information. SPARK Kiosks and Mobile Ordering devices can provide customers with in-depth nutritional information which can be viewed per 100g, per item or as an overall view. This information can be customised for serving sizes and easily altered in Cloud HQ.

 

Stock Management

Tired of manual stock checks? SPARK can provide businesses with a real-time stock checks. Each menu item will be linked with stock so when the item is bought, the stock levels will be instantly updated. Business owners will be able to view reports showing void/wastage, stock levels and which items are selling and which aren't. Available Times

Many businesses have set serving times for multiple menus and with a SPARK system, businesses can set serving times for these menu items to appear. This can be set for the EPoS, Kiosk and Mobile Ordering so customers know when Breakfast items are available, when Lunch starts and if they're too late.
